Election Day Bake Sale – Nov. 7, 2023

Times TBA – tentatively 7am–10:00am, though if we can find enough volunteers, it can run longer.

To run this Fundraiser, we are badly in need of volunteers to:

• Make or bring baked goodies, or donate packaged drinks or snacks to sell (nut-free)
• Help with setting up, selling, and wrapping up the sale.
• Help with watching the kids who get bored of helping.

One of the lovely things about this fundraiser is that members of the community who come in to vote can also help to show their support for the school. Of the people who stopped to buy goodies last year, many had gone to the school, or had children or grandchildren who had attended P.S. 174. One older gentleman smiled and put a $20 bill in the donation jar without even purchasing anything!

We will need at least 3 adult volunteers on the day-of in order for the Bake Sale to run – 2 for the table and 1 to help watch the kids — also awesome if the kids want to help too! (But someone to help watch them/take them to the playground if they get bored is a huge help!).
