2023–24 PS 174 Parent Association
and 2023–24 School Leadership Team

Join us for the Parent Association General Meeting, PA and SLT Elections and art for the kids.
PS 174 art teacher Ms. Cooper will have art activities for the kids during the meeting. 

We also plan to order pizza. 

If you plan to attend, please rsvp via this form so we can have an approximate head count.

Please RSVP so we can have an idea of how many families will be participating, and so our art teacher can better match an appropriate project to the ages of the children participating.

Who: All PS 174 parents and their children

When: Mon., May 1, 6 p.m.-7 p.m. (vote @ 6:30)

What: General meeting and election

Where: *In-person only* at PS 174 Auditorium (sign in with the security guard at the front entrance)

Why: To elect an executive board for the next school year.

All Legal Guardians of students enrolled in PS 174 for the 2023–24 school year are eligible to run and to serve on the PA Board or SLT.

Required positions

Parent Association (PA) Executive Board:
– President
– Treasurer
– Recording Secretary
Note: roles may be shared between two people, but they must appear together on the ballet as running together: i.e. co-President, co-Treasurer, and co-Secretary.

School Leadership Team (SLT):
– 2 positions
– 1 alternate for the SLT

Non-required PA Executive Board positions
(If there are not enough candidates, we strongly encourage running for the required roles, as the PA cannot function without those filled).
– Vice President
– Corresponding Secretary
